The funny thing about odds and probabilities: they're about as reliable as the source.
For instance, let's say I were to tell you there is a 20% chance Slytherin is going to win the Quidditch and House Cups this year. Would you believe me? No. I'm sure many of you have plenty of reasons as to why you wouldn't, or shouldn't, believe that statement, but the most obvious should be the following: A) I'm not an avid follower of Quidditch, B) I couldn't care less about House points, C) my calculations might just be biased in favor of another House, and D) you have absolutely no sodding idea what I based my odds off of. Odds are only remotely significant if an expert on the subject were to place them and then explain how they were derived. That said, is anyone still surprised I'm not dating Severus Snape or that Lily Evans has yet to shack up with Sirius Black and James Potter? No. Sorry to disappoint, but relationship odds are the biggest waste of space in that publication.
Now that I've spoken my long overdue peace about that, I'd like to add one more time a word of "congratulations" to the Hufflepuff Badgers for a job well done out there on the pitch this afternoon. Good looking out next time, Gryffindor.
